The video, shot entirely in black and white, tracks Blake and Chance as they cruise in a lowrider through an eerie forest inhabited by stallions and Somalian pirates.
“I love juxtapositions,” says the video’s award-winning director Nabil, “so I thought I’d bring an old school lowrider to the countryside in England, and bring the two together in a way that makes people question things.”
New music video from Young Eastlin featuring J-Rome off of his Stack Up Vol. 2 mixtape. Recorded at Flatline Studios. Also a cameo shot from the side of my head.

“Man is literally split in two: he has an awareness of his own splendid uniqueness in that he sticks out of nature with a towering majesty, and yet he goes back into the ground a few feet in order blindly and dumbly to rot and disappear forever”

For the last few months, filmmaker Jason Silva has been impressing us with his philosophical YouTube series, “Shots of Awe.” This installment, called “Existential Bummer,” is no exception.
In it, Silva asks: How should we react to the fact that everything we love will eventually come to an end?

I caught LA based indy pop band, Wildcat! Wildcat! the other night at Doug Fir for their tour stop. Even with some equipment malfunctions the band still put on a great performance and was really personable afterwards to the fans. Mr. Quiche is the first video off their four song EP, Wildcat! Wildcat!, available on Itunes now.

Cool Nutz releases the visuals for the lead track from his most recent album “Bars”.
Sometime in 2009 when Cool and I were working on the Incredible album, I showed this instrumental to him after he had been expressing his frustrations with the music scene. Feeling the same way myself, I took for granted how well this sample fit how we both felt. This instrumental is from the last of my boom bap style of production. Simple pieces of music with just drums and a sample.
